Job summary

JLL is seeking a skilled HVAC technician to operate and maintain critical building systems at our Mattawan, MI location. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and support safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and repair on on-site utility systems such as air compressors, air handling units, exhaust fans, and roof-top HVAC units.
• Perform basic repairs to HVAC equipment.
• Conduct routine tests and inspections on support equipment including water testing, chemical inventories, brine levels, etc.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair on other operating equipment as required.
• Assist other mechanics and operators with major repairs and maintenance of building systems and equipment.
• Identify, utilize, and operate tools and equipment associated with mechanical systems while completing JHA and work permits.
• Document all work performed in the Computerized Maintenance Management System and communicate regularly with Supervisor and Chief Engineer.
• Order materials, maintain compliance with safety regulations, and ensure proper storage of hazardous materials.
