Job summary

Matrix Service Company is seeking an HSE Technician to support the implementation of Project HSE Management Systems at project sites. You will educate and monitor safety compliance for field activities to promote a safe and healthy work environment.

Travel to project sites is required with per diem provided for eligible assignments. The role includes participating in safety orientation, inspections, incident investigations, and permit issuance under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CHST designation or OSHA 500/502 certification preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of federal, state, local and company safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Company with high moral standards and adhere to the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
• Support safety and Core Values across projects.
• Promote HSE compliance with site management and subcontractors.
• Assist in controlling hazardous conditions and unsafe behavior.
• Assist in safety supervision and administration of first aid and rescue activities.
• Participate in safety orientation trainings.
• Perform regular safety inspections of construction areas.
• Assist in accident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Document accidents, safety violations, and unsafe conditions.
• Issue work permits as trained.
• Participate in housekeeping activities.
