Job summary

ERM is hiring an experienced HSE Owners Advisor to provide on-site support for a key technology client in Reno, NV. This full-time, limited-term role (6 months, extendable) focuses on promoting safe construction practices and monitoring contractor compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements during data center development.

Responsibilities include site inspections, reviewing JHAs, and documenting observations while supporting environmental compliance and stormwater controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field preferred.
• Experience in construction safety and environmental compliance on large projects.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine site inspections and field observations of construction activities.
• Monitor contractor compliance with project safety requirements and applicable regulations.
• Review JHAs and pre-task plans for safety relevance.
• Identify unsafe conditions and communicate observations to client representative.
• Maintain safety records and inspection documentation.
• Support environmental compliance during construction, including stormwater management and BMPs.
