Job summary

United Ground Express seeks an Associate Human Resources Business Partner for Hub Services at DEN, reporting to the Hub HR BP. You will guide managers and frontline staff on HR policy, onboarding, investigations, and compliance, while maintaining union-related records and HR documentation.

The role covers employee relations, data entry, training support, and collaboration with multiple departments at an on-site airport location. 3+ years HR experience and an associate degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years HR experience or relevant degree.
• Associate degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and attention to detail.
• Experience with employee investigations and handling employee relations concerns.
• Able to multi-task and learn quickly; team player.
• Some travel may be required.
• Not a remote position; on-site at DEN airport.

Responsibilities

• Assist HRBP with investigations, meetings, and notes; may lead low-risk cases.
• Serve as a liaison; respond to inquiries about policies, leaves, and unemployment claims.
• Provide HR support to internal customers with a professional, accurate approach.
• Facilitate New Hire Orientation.
• Collaborate with HRBP on people matters and business understanding.
• Support HR objectives through projects and training.
• Manage HR inquiries in-person, email, and by phone.
• Administer ADP/HRIS and update systems as needed.
• Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and improvements.
