Modern Machining Solutions Inc. in the Pittsburgh area seeks an on-site HR Business Partner to lead HR for a plant of approximately 80 employees, partnering with site management and providing real-time support to hourly and salaried staff.

The role encompasses employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and labor relations, with a focus on staying compliant with employment law. Local candidates only; relocation is not offered.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years in HR within manufacturing or warehousing.
• Union environment experience preferred; candidates without it will be considered if capable.
• Ability to handle sensitive employee matters independently and escalate when needed.
• Builds trust with all levels from shop floor to front office.
• HRIS experience a plus, especially with implementations.

Responsabilidades

• Act as single HR contact for a plant of roughly 80 employees.
• Coach leaders through employee relations issues and performance conversations.
• Work with corporate HR on union grievances and labor relations.
• Lead site-level recruiting, onboarding, and retention.
• Ensure compliance with employment law and company policy.
• Stay visible on the production floor for accessibility.
