Job summary

VOALA in Los Angeles is seeking an HR Operations Supervisor to lead the HR Service Team, ensure high‑quality employee support, and coordinate payroll, onboarding, and files on site. The role drives HR process improvements, implements onboarding software, builds metrics, and collaborates with Recruitment and HR Classification to deliver full HR services.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years in HR, 2+ years in a large organization; SHRM-CP/PHR preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related work experience (4 years).
• Minimum four years of general experience in HR, including project management.
• Experience in a large organization (500+ employees) preferred.
• Two years of leading, coaching and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach and mentor the HR Service Team, partnering with Recruitment and HR Classification as needed for onboarding and offboarding.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to update policies, processes and HRIS implementations (onboarding, verification, HR records).
• Develop and maintain metrics for HR Service Team performance.
• Ensure resolution of employee inquiries and proper escalation to HR staff.
