Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles (VOALA) is seeking a Human Resources Service Operations Supervisor to streamline HR functions, report on HR metrics, and lead the HR Service Team on-site. You will drive onboarding, policy updates, and system implementations while coordinating with payroll and compliance teams.

The role requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 4+ years in HR with project management, and leadership capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related work experience (4 years) required.
• Minimum four years in Human Resources with significant project management experience.
• Experience in a large organization (500+ employees) preferred.
• Minimum two years of leading, coaching and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise HR Service Team, partner with Recruitment and HR Classification teams to provide onboarding and verification support.
• Lead HRIS/onboarding system implementations and other HR technology projects.
• Develop and maintain HR Service Team metrics and drive process improvements.
• Ensure timely handling of employee inquiries and escalation to appropriate HR staff.
