Qualifications

• 6+ years experience supporting HR functions in an operational or on-site setting.
• Subject matter expertise working with leadership on workforce topics
• Experience with employment practices, investigations, and compliance
• Ability to manage competing priorities and respond outside business hours
• Experience leading recruitment for roles at multiple levels
• Familiarity with HR systems and workplace technology tools
• Flexibility to support on-site environment with varying needs
• Experience supporting diverse or multilingual workforce
• Professional HR certification or equivalent experience
• Manufacturing or transportation industry operation experience

Responsibilities

• Act as a consistent point of contact for site leadership on employee-related matters.
• Support staffing and workforce planning across large employee populations.
• Assist with workplace concerns and ensure fair application of practices.
• Provide input on performance expectations, coaching, and development conversations.
• Monitor adherence to employment standards and external requirements.
• Use data and observations to identify workforce trends.
• Contribute to efforts improving engagement, retention, and work environment.
• Reinforce workplace conduct and safety standards.
• Lead employee relations investigations.
• Perform full cycle recruitment for all levels within the organization.
