Job summary

Vaco by Highspring seeks an on-site HR Manager in Ocala/Jacksonville, FL to own the people function end to end in a PE-backed, high-growth environment. This hands-on role requires comfort with blue-collar employees and a strong focus on retention.

You will lead recruiting for field and corporate roles, oversee payroll and compliance, and help shape HR infrastructure as the company scales and integrates acquisitions.

Qualifications

• True HR generalist capable across recruiting, relations, compliance, and payroll.
• Experience with blue-collar workforce and retention strategies.
• Self-starter who takes initiative and acts without direction.
• Comfortable adapting quickly to feedback in a fast-changing environment.
• Willingness to travel between Ocala and Jacksonville as needed.
