Trane Technologies plc is seeking an HR Generalist/Recruiter to deliver local HR services and run the hourly recruiting process for Grand Rapids manufacturing facilities. You will partner with leaders to attract, assess, and onboard candidates, while driving employee relations and compliance with corporate policies.

The role covers talent acquisition, onboarding, and HR counseling, supporting workforce planning and engagement initiatives across the site. Strong communication is essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, related area or minimum 3 years related experience.
• Strong candidate assessment and in-person/virtual interviewing skills required; ability to evaluate organizational fit and requirements.
• Experience in a plant environment is preferred; broad HR Generalist skills including employee relations and local/federal law knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and professional communication at all levels with customers, clients, vendors, visitors, and employees.
• Detail-oriented, organized, with urgency; ability to work independently or in a team; strong project management.
• Knowledge or experience with HRMS/PeopleSoft is a plus.

• Execute full life cycle recruiting from attraction through onboarding; partner with HR and leadership to set expectations and maintain communication.
• Source and attract diverse candidates through referrals, social media, networking, and niche resources.
• Conduct phone screens, assess candidates, facilitate interview feedback with hiring managers.
• Build talent pipelines and candidate communities; contribute to process improvements.
• Provide HR counsel to management; support HR strategies and programs aligned with business goals.
• Analyze HR data for reports and informed management decisions.
• Support onboarding, engagement, retention, and workforce planning activities.
• Collaborate with managers on onboarding and culture, tools, and resources for new hires.
