Job summary

International in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to support 1400+ employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work on-site with the Plant HR Manager, drive engagement, and use data insights to address attrition and attendance challenges.

The role requires strong policy interpretation, employee relations, and high-volume hiring support, along with training for supervisors and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of human resources or labor relations experience
• OR Master’s degree and no experience
• OR at least 3 years of human resources or labor relations experience
• US work authorization required (no H-1B sponsorship anticipated)
• Experience in a union environment is highly desired

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site HR support for 1400+ hourly and salaried employees
• Track and report on HR metrics (headcount, attrition, attendance)
• Advise supervisors on policy interpretation and disciplinary actions
• Drive employee engagement and recognition programs
• Design and analyze employee surveys to identify root causes of attrition
• Lead site HR committees and governance for culture and continuous improvement
• Conduct investigations and document outcomes in a compliant manner
• Coach supervisors on performance management and documentation
• Ensure compliance with employment laws (EEOC, ADA, FMLA, OFCCP, HIPAA)
