Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Human Resources Generalist for a 100% on-site contract role in Lebanon, TN. You will manage day-to-day HR activities for an hourly workforce in a manufacturing environment, serving as the site HR contact and escalating complex matters to senior leadership.

Responsibilities include onboarding, attendance management, HRIS/UKG tasks, benefits and leave coordination, and collaboration with Safety and site leadership to maintain a compliant workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus.
• Experience with onboarding, HRIS, benefits and leave coordination.
• Experience handling attendance management and employee relations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently on site.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site HR contact for routine needs.
• Support attendance management and employee relations.
• Coordinate hourly and temporary staffing with recruiters and agencies.
• Support onboarding, I-9, background checks, and orientation.
• Process employee changes and maintain records.
• Assist HRIS and payroll tasks in UKG and timekeeping.
• Support benefits enrollment and leave questions.
• Collaborate with Safety and site leadership on compliance.
• Track open HR issues and escalate as needed.
• Build relationships across site with HR and operations.
