Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking an HR Generalist for a Full-Time, On-Site role in Chattanooga, TN. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field required or preferred.
• 3-5 years HR experience in manufacturing/distribution/industrial environment.
• Experience with employee relations, recruiting, investigations, and compliance.
• Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA and workers' compensation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted resource for employees and supervisors regarding HR policies, procedures, and workplace concerns.
• Investigate employee relations issues, complaints, and policy violations, documenting findings and recommending actions.
• Support conflict resolution and maintain positive employee relations across the facility.
• Coordinate full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried positions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Maintain HR records and support payroll and timekeeping accuracy.
