Job summary

Muncie Power Products, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Generalist in Tulsa, OK. The role partners with leaders, manages employee relations, and supports performance management, compliance, training and HR administration to create a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities include handling investigations, onboarding, data maintenance in the HRIS, audits and recruitment support, while ensuring adherence to employment laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years HR experience; manufacturing background preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Strong time management, organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with HRIS system administration and reporting tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site HR resource for employees and managers.
• Partner with leaders to address performance concerns and support corrective action process.
• Provide guidance on company policies, procedures, and HR best practices.
• Assist HR Manager with workplace investigations and conflict resolution.
• Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee matters.
• Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
• Assist with performance management processes and employee development planning/tracking.
• Maintain data in the HRIS and employee personnel files.
• Assist with HR audits, reporting requirements and documentation management.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Support recruitment including postings, screening, interviews, pre-employment screenings and job fairs.
• Assist with company events and employee communications.
• Support employee recognition, wellness and engagement initiatives.
• Support other HR functions as needed.
