Muncie Power Products is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support our Tulsa, OK on-site HR operations. The role focuses on employee relations, performance management, compliance, training and HR administration to enhance the employee experience.

You will partner with leaders to address performance concerns, manage HR records, assist with recruitment, and ensure compliance with employment laws while maintaining confidentiality in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred or required.
• Minimum of 3 years HR experience; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR practices.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in HRIS and reporting tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site HR resource for employees and managers.
• Partner with leaders to address performance concerns and support corrective action process.
• Provide guidance on company policies, procedures, and HR best practices.
• Assist HR Manager with workplace investigations and conflict resolution.
• Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee matters.
• Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
• Assist with performance management processes and employee development planning/tracking.
• Assist with maintaining accurate data in the HRIS and/or employee personnel files.
• Assist with HR audits, reporting requirements, and documentation management.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Support recruitment efforts including job postings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, pre-employment screenings, and attending job fairs.
• Assist with company events and employee communication efforts.
• Support employee recognition, wellness and engagement initiatives.
• Support other functions of HR team as needed.
