Job summary

Northeast Automatic Sprinkler Co. is seeking an on-site HR Generalist to manage day-to-day HR needs for a growing, primarily non-union office and shop staff. You will support recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and employment law compliance.

The role requires partnering with senior leadership and Corporate HR to ensure consistent policy application and timely HR support across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field.
• 5+ years progressive HR experience, Generalist role preferred.
• Experience in construction/manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience with employee relations, performance, benefits, payroll & compliance.
• Proven ability to coach managers and influence outcomes.
• Knowledge of union environments and collective bargaining is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end talent acquisition, onboarding, and development.
• Administer performance reviews and coaching for managers.
• Manage employee relations, conflicts, investigations, and policy guidance.
• Oversee HR operations, records, HRIS, compliance with laws.
• Administer benefits, open enrollment, and payroll support.
• Partner with leadership on compensation planning and policy updates.
