Job summary

LaSalle Corrections is seeking an HR Field Representative to administer human resources processes at our Louisiana facility. This on-site role ensures compliance with state and federal employment laws, maintains HR records, and supports employee health and welfare plans.

You will handle recruitment, onboarding, investigations, employee relations, training support, and HRIS data entry, while preserving confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field;/or equivalent experience preferred.
• 2+ years of related HR experience required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day direction in all aspects of human resources.
• Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal employment laws and company policies.
• Recruitment and interview process including posting positions, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and extending offers.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee information and HR records.
• HRIS data entry and coordination with Payroll and Corporate HR.
• Assist with employee relations, investigations, and performance management.
• Facilitate training and onboarding activities as needed.
• Process employee status changes, benefits enrollments, leaves, and terminations.
