Job summary

Hoya is seeking an HR Coordinator to support the HR team with policy application, employee inquiries, onboarding, and payroll-related tasks. This role focuses on coordinating recruitment, orientation, payroll changes, and HRIS data entry, while maintaining timely, accurate administrative support.

In this onsite position, you will work closely with supervisors and lab leadership to ensure compliant HR processes and engaging employee relations initiatives.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Bilingual: Spanish and English required.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting support: schedule phone screens and interviews.
• Facilitating onboarding sessions for new hires.
• Run, input, and maintain HR reports for lab leadership.
• Create, monitor, and administer employee badges.
• Assist with answering HR-related questions and concerns.
• Assist with employee relations and investigations.
• Resolve payroll time and attendance issues with leadership.
• Submit changes to HQ Payroll: new hires, terminations, department changes, PTO, salary changes.
• Enter data into the HRIS systems.
• Work in-office Monday–Friday, 8am–4:30pm; no remote work.
