Job summary

Highland Springs by Erickson Senior Living is seeking an on-site Human Resources Coordinator in Peabody, MA. The role supports day-to-day HR operations, coordinating new hire processes, background checks, and benefits administration while collaborating with leadership and staff.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of HR experience and familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Workday or UKG, delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of HR-related experience or equivalent education.
• Experience with an HRIS program, Workday preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as point of contact for employees visiting the HR office and provide a high level of customer excellence.
• Process new hire paperwork, coordinate required medical testing, input background checks to appropriate agencies, and ensure compliance with government and organization recordkeeping requirements.
• Conduct regular audits of employee files, benefit enrollment, Form I-9s, employee status and other HR programs and take corrective action.
• Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation, and maintains I-9 files. Uses E-Verify to ensure compliance with Form I-9 process.
• Enter and maintain documents in appropriate employee files ensuring the HR team is always audit ready.
• Maintains up to date knowledge on all benefits offerings, new policies, and policy updates.
• Provide consultative end-user transaction processing guidance in systems such as Workday and UKG.
• Schedule and conduct new hire orientation. Collaborate with other departments to schedule new hires training.
• Actively participates in the Employee Relations Committee, planning and organization of companywide events.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
