Job summary

Autobahn in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an HR Coordinator/Payroll Administrator to support daily HR operations and payroll processing in a fast-paced luxury dealership environment.

You will serve as a primary resource for payroll, onboarding, benefits, HR policies, and records while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; proficiency with Excel and HRIS is a plus, and on-site work is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in HR, business, accounting or related field preferred; bachelor's degree desirable.
• 2-5 years of payroll and HR administration experience.
• Experience with payroll systems, HRIS, and timekeeping software.
• Working knowledge of payroll regulations and employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Audit timekeeping records and payroll data.
• Administer payroll changes for hires, terminations, promotions, and benefit elections.
• Reconcile payroll data, prepare reports, and resolve employee payroll inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with payroll laws and assist with year-end processing, W-2s, audits, and reporting.
• Coordinate recruiting, onboarding, and new hire orientation.
• Maintain personnel files, HRIS records, and employee documentation.
• Support benefits administration, employee communications, training, and compliance tracking.
• Process employee status changes and assist with performance management and engagement initiatives.
• Communicate HR policies and maintain confidentiality of employee information.
• Maintain accurate HR and payroll records in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Support audits, workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and leave administration.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and employment laws.
