• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general ledger coding.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Invoice Processing – Review, code, and process vendor invoices accurately and timely with proper approvals.
• Payment Administration – Prepare and process payments via various methods per schedules and company controls.
• Vendor Support – Respond to vendor inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and maintain positive vendor relationships.
• Reconciliation & Research – Reconcile vendor statements, investigate outstanding items, and resolve discrepancies.
• Expense Management – Review and process employee reimbursements per policy.
• Internal Controls & Compliance – Follow established approval processes and support fraud prevention.

Position Overview: As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you are responsible for ensuring vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and payment requests are processed accurately, timely, and in accordance with company policies. This role supports dealership operations by maintaining strong vendor relationships, safeguarding company resources through disciplined payment practices, and ensuring complete and accurate accounts payable records.

Responsibilities:

• Invoice Processing – Review, code, and process vendor invoices accurately and timely while ensuring proper approvals and supporting documentation
• Payment Administration – Prepare and process payments through various methods while maintaining compliance with payment schedules and company controls
• Vendor Support – Respond to vendor inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and maintain positive vendor relationships
• Reconciliation & Research – Reconcile vendor statements, investigate outstanding items, and resolve payment or invoice discrepancies
• Expense Management – Review and process employee expense reimbursements in accordance with company policies
• Internal Controls & Compliance – Follow established approval processes, maintain segregation of duties, and support fraud prevention and audit readiness

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting , Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• 2+ years of accounts payable, accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience preferred
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general ledger coding
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
