Job summary

Apex Landscaping Inc. is seeking an HR Coordinator (On-Site) to support daily HR operations. This role reports to the Human Resources Manager and handles onboarding, records, compliance tasks, and general administrative support.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and ready to work in a full-time, non-exempt, on-site environment at our Hawthorn Woods office. Associate degree required; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prior related office experience preferred.
• 1-2 Years of Human Resources Required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with Paylocity is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate HR files, records, and documentation.
• Oversee onboarding tasks including I-9s and tax forms.
• Serve as a resource for policies, benefits, and HR processes.
• Support audits to ensure documents are complete and compliant.
• Provide clerical and administrative support to HR.
• Prepare HR correspondence, forms, and internal communications.
• Assist with payroll processing and employee questions.
• Liaise with benefits providers and external HR vendors.
• Assist with new hire orientation and performance management processes.
• Support HR events and recruiting activities.
