Job summary

Hermanson Company seeks a Human Resources Coordinator to support on-site construction projects in Lancaster, PA. This role handles onboarding, HR systems, employee relations, and general HR duties for a large, fast-paced site with both union and non-union workers.

You will work from a field trailer, collaborating with project leaders and HR teammates, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely communication in a demanding field environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
• At least two years related HR or Admin experience.
• SHRM-CP or HRCI credential is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs clerical & customer service functions for the HR department & project site leadership.
• Assists HR Generalists with new hire onboarding, including processing new hire paperwork, I-9s completion.
• Processes new hire background checks & drug screens.
• Creating & maintain employee files.
• Maintains & updates EEO data spreadsheets.
• Performs verifications of employment.
• Process terminations & conducts exit interviews.
• Assists with scheduling interviews & drafting offer letters, as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
