Job summary

United Natural Foods, Inc. is seeking an HR Business Partner to collaborate with site leadership and deliver HR strategies across Talent Development, Workforce Planning, Engagement, and Employee Relations.

This on-site role supports the facility group, partners with HR Director/Manager, and requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of HR experience; travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred; PHR/SPHR/CHRL/CPHR certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years HR experience required.
• Working knowledge of Federal, state/provincial, and local employment laws.
• Understanding of talent acquisition techniques, including recruitment, interviewing skills, and selection.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Builds effective working relationships with business leaders and serves as primary HR partner to internal stakeholders.
• Implement workforce and talent agenda in partnership with Talent Acquisition; conduct new hire orientation and benefit/policy briefing.
• Drive employee engagement through surveys, action planning, and investigations as assigned.
• Execute HR activities and programs, maintain HRIS records, ensure compliance, and support annual programs (performance, compensation, succession, wellness).
• Manage leaves of absence and accommodation requests; ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
