Job summary

EXP Group in Pharr, Texas is seeking an organized, people-oriented HR Assistant for an on-site, entry-level position. You will support onboarding, maintain employee records in Rippling, assist with timekeeping, recruiting coordination, and ensure confidentiality in all HR processes.

You will work closely with the People & Talent team to learn HR fundamentals, gain hands-on experience, and grow in a supportive, fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; HR/business coursework is a plus.
• 0-2 years in HR, admin, front desk or customer service.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required (spoken and written).
• Discretion with confidential information; strong organization.
• Proficiency with MS Office and HRIS systems such as Rippling.

Responsibilities

• Be the on-site HR contact for Pharr location and answer employee questions.
• Support onboarding: paperwork, I-9, orientation, and first-day setup.
• Enter/update employee data in Rippling; track attendance and time-off.
• Assist recruiting: post jobs, screen applicants, schedule interviews.
• Maintain confidential personnel files and workplace notices.
• Coordinate communications, trainings, and on-site events; escalate issues.
