Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Orlando-area hotel. You will maintain building systems, ensure safety standards, and support a welcoming guest experience. This on-site role offers opportunities for skilled hands-on work within a collaborative team.

The position requires vocational training or certifications in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry, with the ability to lift 25–50 lbs and communicate effectively. Hotel maintenance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, plumbing or carpentry trades required.
• Hotel or hospitality maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on hotel systems and equipment.
• Inspect and repair electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing and related fixtures.
• Service the hotel pool area, adjust chemicals, and maintain logs.
• Refurbish and repair guest room furniture and fixtures as needed.
• Assist with general building maintenance and respond courteously to guest inquiries.
