Job summary

Extended-Stay-Hotel in Orlando seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep all property equipment running smoothly and ensure guest rooms stay in pristine condition. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and respond to guest requests with prompt, courteous service.

You will follow the Green Shield Binder, maintain records, and coordinate with management to meet safety, sanitation, and local code requirements, while keeping tools organized and work areas clean.

Qualifications

• Read and speak English proficiently and interact with guests, associates and outside vendors.
• Understand and follow safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and company guidelines and standards.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Use units of measurement for weight, volume and distance.
• Apply good judgment at all times.
• Assist with resolving guest issues in accordance with company policies.

• Works with minimal supervision while performing all essential duties to satisfaction and within company standards.
• Responds to and assists with all guest requests with diligent follow-through in accordance with company guidelines and procedures.
• Performs the out of room cleaning outlined in the Green Shield Binder to maintain pristine premises.
• Performs repairs listed on work orders and completes them in a timely and professional manner.
• Completes preventative maintenance inspections and repairs as outlined in the Green Shield Binder.
• Follows the Green Shield Inspection schedule daily to accomplish tasks in a timely fashion.
• Maintains all records as outlined within the Green Shield Binder including PM deficiencies and inspections.
• Follows workflow on Green Shield Schedule and uses SOPs as reference guides.
• Maintains organized and clean work area and safeguards tools inventory daily.
