GC&E Federal, LLC. is seeking a Help Desk Support Service Specialist to support our Fort Devens client on a full-time, fixed one-year contract.

The role requires strong communication, end-user support, and technical proficiency with Microsoft Windows OS, Active Directory, and PowerShell scripting. The candidate must be able to work within a team, handle O&M functions, and provide reliable local support for end-user devices and peripherals.

Qualifications

• Five years of professional experience in a help desk role.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows OS.
• Sufficient knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policies, and networks to manage systems and diagnose issues.
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting.
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work as part of the Help Desk Support Technician team.
• Provide Tier 1/2 support for end users and O&M functions.
• Install, troubleshoot, and support hardware and peripherals.
• Diagnose login problems and resolve issues related to group policies or networks.
• Support desktop software deployment and equipment repairs as required.
