Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in the repair, inspection, or operation of mobile equipment or heavy mobile equipment.
• Three years of experience in the inspection of automotive equipment.
• Valid Louisiana Class “B” Commercial Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site preventive maintenance and safety inspections; document conditions and suggest repairs.
• Monitor repairs by DOTD personnel and outside vendors to ensure timely completion.
• Collaborate with managers to assess equipment needs and advise on purchases and EOCP updates.
• Maintain detailed equipment inventory, including locations, history, and current condition.
• Evaluate maintenance products and update EOCP guidelines; propose process improvements.
