Job summary

B&S Site Development seeks a Heavy Civil Foreman to oversee and coordinate on-site operations at our construction projects across Ohio and surrounding regions. You will serve as the primary liaison between field crews and site management, ensuring work is performed safely and to project plans and specifications.

The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of construction methods and safety protocols. CDL and OSHA certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of underground utility experience (with 1+ year in a leadership role preferred).
• Strong understanding of utility installation methods and safety requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and grade stakes.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and in various weather conditions.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate crew activities on-site.
• Oversee installation of storm, water, and sanitary sewer systems.
• Ensure work meets project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Communicate with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and site documentation.
• Lead by example and enforce safety protocols.
• Assist with training and mentoring crew members.
