Job summary

B&S Site Development is seeking a Heavy Civil Foreman to lead and coordinate on-site operations at our large-parcel civil projects in Georgia. You will serve as the primary liaison between field crews and site management, ensuring work is performed safely, on schedule, and per project plans.

This role demands strong leadership, hands-on problem-solving, and a solid understanding of utility installation, grading, and site layout.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of underground utility experience (with 1+ year in a leadership role preferred).
• Strong understanding of utility installation methods and safety requirements.
• Strong knowledge of excavation, grading, utility installation, and site layout.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and grade stakes.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate crew activities on-site.
• Oversee installation of storm, water, and sanitary sewer systems.
• Ensure work meets project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Communicate with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and site documentation.
• Lead by example and enforce safety protocols.
• Assist with training and mentoring crew members.
