Job summary

B&S Site Development, a fast-growing leader in heavy civil site development, seeks a Heavy Civil Foreman to oversee on-site operations and serve as the main link between field crews and site management. You will ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and per project plans and specs.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in underground utilities and strong leadership, with the ability to read blueprints. OSHA certification is preferred, and a CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of underground utility experience (with 1+ year in a leadership role preferred).
• Strong understanding of utility installation methods and safety requirements.
• Strong knowledge of excavation, grading, utility installation, and site layout.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and grade stakes.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and in various weather conditions.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate crew activities on-site.
• Oversee installation of storm, water, and sanitary sewer systems.
• Ensure work meets project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Communicate with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and site documentation.
• Lead by example and enforce safety protocols.
• Assist with training and mentoring crew members.
