Job summary

D7 Pneumatics LLC is seeking an On-Site Health and Safety Officer to lead safety programs on construction sites nationwide. You will implement, monitor, and improve safety protocols, and coordinate with site management to protect workers and contractors.

The role requires hands-on training delivery, regular inspections, incident investigations, and robust reporting to ensure OSHA compliance and a culture of safety. Travel to multiple job sites is expected.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30hr card for the Construction Industry.
• Current certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED.
• 3-5 years of proven experience in a Health and Safety role, preferably in construction or industrial environments.
• Ability to travel to job sites throughout the country over an extended period.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of on-site operations to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Develop and implement safety protocols, emergency response plans, and risk assessments.
• Provide on-site safety training, toolbox talks, and safety orientations for employees and contractors.
• Observe workers to ensure appropriate use of personal protection equipment is being implemented.
• Investigate and report incidents, near misses, and safety violations, recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation on safety programs, training records, and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related matters and coordinate with management to promote continuous improvement.
