Job summary

Prosegur is seeking a Global Security Risk Intelligence Lead (GSOC) in San Mateo, CA. The role leads the on-shift GSOC, directs analysts, and coordinates incident response to protect Sony Interactive Entertainment personnel, facilities, and operations.

The position is 100% on-site with a 12-hour shift schedule (6:00 AM–6:00 PM) and rotating teams to ensure continuous global coverage. Strong leadership and decision-making under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of GSOC/security operations or risk monitoring experience.
• Experience leading shifts or coordinating complex security incidents.
• Strong understanding of global threat landscapes.
• Ability to make independent operational decisions under pressure.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-shift decision-making authority for GSOC operations.
• Direct and manage GSOC Analysts during assigned shift.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, SLAs, and escalation protocols.
• Conduct shift briefings, passdowns, and operational alignment reviews.
• Maintain continuous oversight of life-safety monitoring and crisis tracking.
• Conduct periodic audits of active monitoring streams and operator workflows.
• Ensure completion of required training modules and facilitate shift-based drills.
