Job summary

DNI (Delaware Nation Industries) seeks a Computer User Support Specialist to provide on-site Tier 1 technical support at Wright Patterson AFB, maintaining computers, printers, VoIP phones, and asset inventory in compliance with government regulations.

You will troubleshoot hardware/software issues, train users, and ensure accurate IT asset tracking while delivering strong customer service. Travel is local; usual hours apply

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• Security+ or 8140 equivalent.
• Experience with government IT asset management (ITAM).
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform on-site duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 technical support to end-users at Wright Patterson AFB, remote and on-site.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain computer hardware, software, printers, and VoIP devices.
• Establish and troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
• Manage IT asset inventory, including assignment, tracking, and disposal per gov't regulations.
• Provide user training on software and hardware usage.
• Maintain documentation of support activities and inventory changes.
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level teams as needed.
• Collaborate with IT staff to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Stay up-to-date on technologies and security best practices.
