Job summary

Delaware Nation Industries seeks a Computer User Support Specialist to deliver Tier 1 on-site technical support at Wright Patterson AFB. You will troubleshoot hardware/software, configure devices, and manage IT asset inventory while following government regulations.

The role emphasizes strong customer service and precise documentation. Responsibilities include user training, network connectivity troubleshooting, and collaboration with IT staff to ensure consistent service delivery.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance or higher is required by government contract.
• Security+ or 8140 equivalent certification is required or preferred.
• 3-7 years of computer user support experience in a government environment.
• Experience with government IT asset management (DoD) is preferred.
• Familiarity with Air Force regulations and procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 technical support to end-users at Wright Patterson AFB, resolving issues efficiently and effectively, both remotely and in person.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain computer hardware, software, printers, and VoIP telephones.
• Establish and troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
• Manage IT asset inventory, including assignment, tracking, and disposal, adhering to government property management regulations.
• Provide user training on software applications and hardware usage.
• Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and inventory changes.
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams as needed.
• Collaborate with other IT staff to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and security best practices.
