Job summary

East Coast Energy Systems LLC is seeking a Generator Technician I to service and repair generators on-site with up to 50% travel to customer locations. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and emergency repairs while ensuring safety and compliance with NFPA and state regulations.

The role requires a High School Diploma, 1 year of mechanical experience, and a valid driver's license. Generac certification readiness and strong reporting skills are desired.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1 year of mechanical experience required.
• Valid Driver License required.
• Must be able to obtain Generac certification (air-cooled and protector series).
• Able to read manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting and repair of generators.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during and outside normal hours.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on generators.
• Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and generator literature to perform maintenance/repairs.
• Create reports for all field work and communicate findings promptly.
