Job summary

Zohorecruit invites an experienced General Engineer to support the Senior Construction Manager on a Washington, DC project through June 2028. This on-site role requires an engineering degree and a hands-on approach to reviewing drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

You will prepare scopes of work, IGEs, change-order packages, and respond to RFIs and submittals while coordinating with project stakeholders to ensure safety, accuracy, and contract compliance on site.

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Ability to identify schedule, cost, and construction risks.
• Strong written and verbal communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Construction Manager with project documentation and construction administration.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and other contract documents.
• Prepare scopes of work, IGEs, and change-order packages.
• Review RFIs and contractor submittals.
• Monitor field progress, schedules, costs, and contract compliance.
