Job summary

Ecosystem is seeking a Construction Manager for a full-time, on-site role based in Washington, DC, with the Georgetown Project as a key assignment. You will lead design input, constructability reviews, and on-site execution while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

You will ensure safety compliance, manage subcontractors and stakeholders, and balance budgets, schedules, and quality to deliver top-tier outcomes for higher-education facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with ownership of construction projects.
• Experience in mechanical and electrical construction.
• Strong communication (written and verbal) in English.
• Team player with resilience and determination.
• Ability to think quickly under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety requirements on project sites and apply best practices.
• Oversee on-site construction operations, managing subcontractors, client, and stakeholders at higher-education facilities.
• Navigate scope changes and solve technical challenges while balancing cost, schedule, and people.
• Support preparation of project upgrades, estimates, and documentation for client presentations.
• Develop understanding of energy performance measures and sustainability considerations.
• Assist day-to-day construction activities ensuring alignment with budget, schedule, and quality.
• Deliver an exceptional client experience.
