Job summary

Resource Acquisition Game Day Assistant at Duke Athletics in Durham, NC, on site. This position supports the preparation, coordination, and execution of game day hospitality events for Duke’s intercollegiate programs.

The role requires strong customer service and event operations skills with long hours, including nights and weekends. One year of experience in marketing, event management, or related fields is preferred.

Qualifications

• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated experience in customer service, event management, operations.
• Ability to handle physical work in setting up and managing hospitality & event opportunities with long hours and weekends being part of the job. Must be able to lift/move 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Max of 19.9 hours/week; includes event operating hours, with night/weekend hours expected.
• Handle set ups & breakdowns for events within Resource Acquisition.
• Serve as day of event coordinator at events.
• Perform other duties as directed.
