Job summary

Target is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move products within our Brooklyn Park facility using stand-up reach trucks and pallet jacks. You will stage product, prepare shipments, load/unload trailers, and log receipts in warehouse software.

The role requires the ability to lift 50+ pounds, operate hydraulic lift equipment, and follow SOPs with minimal supervision. On-site work at a Target HQ location is expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to collaborate effectively with partners.
• Must be able to work 12 hour shifts and stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Ability to safely operate hydraulic lift equipment.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures with minimal supervision.
• Some data entry and PC experience preferred.
• Previous experience working in a shipping/receiving or warehouse setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate stand up reach truck, riding pallet jack, and other PIT equipment while moving product safely throughout our facility.
• Staging product, ensuring production lines remain operating without delays.
• Preparing finished work for shipment, including banding, and wrapping skids.
• Loading/unloading incoming and outgoing trailers.
• Logging receipts in warehouse software and Microsoft Excel.
• Assisting in maintaining forklift lifts and powered pallet jack equipment as necessary.
