Job summary

B&S Site Development LLC is seeking an on-site Foreman to supervise and coordinate crews for underground utility installation at our Columbus projects. You will ensure work aligns with plans, safety standards, and project specs while serving as the primary liaison between field workers and site management.

The role requires 3+ years in underground utilities with leadership experience, strong blueprint-reading skills, and a commitment to safety and quality on time-sensitive civil construction

Qualifications

• 3+ years of underground utility experience (with 1+ year in a leadership role preferred).
• Strong understanding of utility installation methods and safety requirements.
• Strong knowledge of excavation, grading, utility installation, and site layout.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and grade stakes.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate crew activities on-site.
• Oversee installation of storm, water, and sanitary sewer systems.
• Ensure work meets project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Communicate with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and site documentation.
• Lead by example and enforce safety protocols.
• Assist with training and mentoring crew members.
