Job summary

Congruex in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Construction Foreman to lead excavation and underground utility crews, coordinate daily field operations, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• OSHA 10 certification required.
• Minimum 5 years of underground utility construction experience.
• Experience supervising crews, subcontractors, and excavation projects.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily construction tasks according to project priorities, plans, and schedules.
• Lead excavation crews and subcontractors to complete underground utility projects safely, on time, and within budget.
• Train, manage, and mentor employees while enforcing safe use of tools, equipment, and procedures.
• Schedule materials, subcontractors, rental equipment, and oversee jobsite resources to meet project demands.
• Communicate field updates, project status, injuries, and jobsite issues with project managers, general contractors, and leadership.
• Operate heavy equipment, inspect equipment daily, and coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed.
• Additional responsibilities within functional scope based on business needs.
