Trinity Services Group is seeking an Assistant Food Service Director to lead a jail/correctional facility kitchen operation. You will supervise food service staff, ensure compliance with health codes, and coordinate with a Food Service Director to deliver safe, quality meals on-site.

You will manage training, inventory, and scheduling while maintaining strong client relations and adherence to standards. Salary is $45,000 per year with benefits and growth opportunities.

Formación

• Two years of management or supervisory experience in a food service position.
• Three years of experience working in food service.
• ServSafe Certification.
• Experience with purchasing, inventory, ordering and receiving.
• Experience managing and applying kitchen sanitation and safety standards and methods.
• Knowledge of basic accounting and mathematical abilities to complete necessary reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and with food service management systems.
• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Guide, train, and manage the facility food service operation.
• Hire, orient, train and issue corrective action to team members.
• Develop positive connections with clients through effective communication.
• Oversee quantities of food prepared and served according to plan.
• Maintain inventory accuracy in advance preparation of menus.
• Ensure proper storage of food items.
• Maintain serving schedules to meet menu specs safely.
• Maintain sanitary environment following health codes and regulations.
• Manage state or other inspections of the operation.
• Perform other duties as needed.
