Job summary

Trinity Services Group Inc. is seeking an Assistant Food Service Director to lead on-site food service operations in a jail/correctional facility. You will supervise food service workers, manage training and performance, and ensure compliance with menu standards, safety, and health regulations.

The role reports to a Food Service Director and requires a passion for food service, ServSafe certification, and strong leadership. On-site work and opportunities for career advancement are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ServSafe Certification required.
• Two years of management or supervisory experience in a food service position.
• Three years of experience working in food service.
• Experience with purchasing, inventory, ordering and receiving.
• Experience with kitchen sanitation and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Guide, train, and manage the facility food service operation.
• Hire, orient, train and issue corrective actions to team members.
• Communicate with clients to develop positive connections.
• Oversee quantities of food prepared and served per plan.
• Maintain inventory accuracy for planned menus.
• Ensure proper storage of food items.
• Maintain serving schedules per menu specifications and health codes.
• Maintain sanitary environment and comply with Health Department regulations.
• Prepare for state or other inspections.
• Perform other duties as needed.
