Trinity Services Group is seeking an Assistant Food Service Director to work on-site in a correctional facility, reporting to the Food Service Director. The role focuses on leading a large food service operation, supervising staff, and ensuring safe, compliant food preparation and service.

Qualifications

• Two years of management or supervisory experience in a food service position.
• Three years of experience working in food service.
• ServSafe Certification.
• Experience with purchasing, inventory, ordering and receiving.
• Experience managing sanitation and safety standards and methods.
• Knowledge of basic accounting and mathematical abilities to complete reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and food service management systems.

Responsabilités

• Direct and supervise the facility food service operation.
• Hire, orient, train and issue corrective action to team members.
• Develop positive connections with clients and communicate with them.
• Oversee quantities of food prepared and served per plan.
• Maintain inventory accuracy during menu preparation.
• Store food items properly.
• Maintain serving schedules per menu specifications and safety guidelines.
• Ensure sanitary environment following health codes and regulations.
• Perform other responsibilities as required.
