Job summary

Lime Inc. in Detroit, Michigan is seeking a Lead Operations Specialist to maintain our fleet of shared electric vehicles. You will wear multiple helmets to support daily operations and lead a team of Operations Specialists, training and assigning tasks as needed.

The position requires hands-on field work, safety focus, and collaboration with city officials to ensure compliance. This is a contracted role through a third‑party employer with compensation aligned to the ops team.

Responsibilities

• Onboard, train, and lead a team of Operations Specialists and Senior Operations Specialists.
• Maintain a team-oriented environment and integrate new members to the team.
• Evaluate and provide feedback on team performance.
• Safely operate a van for deployment and retrieval of Lime electric vehicles.
• Interact with the local community to retrieve vehicles while ensuring safety.
• Address city requests related to stickers, reflectors and service level agreements.
• Maintain communication with the team including peers, shift lead and manager.
• Support battery management and perform preventative maintenance on vehicles.
• Monitor designated zones to ensure parking compliance and tidiness.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure Lime riders are on the safest vehicles.
