Johnson Controls is seeking a Security & Fire Lead Systems Specialist for on-site leadership of fire and security projects in Calumet City, IL. You will plan, design, program, install, commission, and close out projects while maintaining safety, quality, and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Required Electronics certification or equivalent technical background.
• 10 years of experience in fire/security industry managing a portfolio of projects.
• Experience with system design and commissioning of fire/security systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned fire/security projects from planning through closeout.
• Manage project costs, billings, collections, profitability, and cash flow.
• Coordinate communication with customers and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure safety, compliance with codes, and proper documentation at closeout.
• Provide work direction to subcontractors, technicians, and designers on site.
• Attend progress meetings and report risks and changes to management.
