Job summary

Elmington Construction is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to help lead the field team and manage all on-site work. You will ensure quality standards, safety, site organization, and adherence to company guidelines while coordinating with the PM team and subs.

The role requires knowledge of ground-up construction, ability to interpret complex instructions, and strong communication and organizational skills. Travel may be required, with a focus on delivering projects through team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Results-focused with ability to drive project goals.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Experience interpreting drawings, schedules and written/oral instructions.
• OSHA 30 Hour certification preferred; if not current, obtain within first year.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading field team and manage on-site work.
• Ensure quality standards, inspections, safety compliance and orderly job site.
• Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and equipment with the PM team.
• Review project documents, track RFIs, and support daily/progress/compliance reports.
• Mentor and train team members and support project closeout.
