Job summary

Motion is seeking a Field Service Technician II to perform on-site service and support for hydraulic equipment at customer sites in Birmingham, AL. The role includes diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading systems, with on-call responsibilities to ensure uptime and customer satisfaction.

You will install, service, and troubleshoot machinery, communicate findings to customers, and collaborate with teammates. A technical degree and 3–5 years of related experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a technical degree and three to five years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site services for new and existing clients, including on-site emergency repairs.
• Installation, diagnostics, repair and support for equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnoses problems, documents findings and decides on repair or replacement parts.
• Provides technical support and training to customers on operation and maintenance.
